  • A Day in the Woods - This program was established in 2012 to share sustainable woodland practices and information with private landowners and woodland enthusiasts. From April to November, monthly programs are offered across Southern Ohio on a variety of topics, including wildflowers, pollinators, tree identification, and timber harvesting.   • Small Ruminant 509 - June 13-14, 2025. 7 AM - 4 PM at the Animal Science Building, 2029 Fyffe Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43210. Join Ohio State University Extension for this 2-day short course designed to address several factors associated with producing consistent, high-quality, wholesome products at the farm, packing plant, and retail levels. This is a hands-on program that will enhance your understanding of quality attributes that affect consumer acceptability and ultimately consumer demand of small ruminant products.
