Gallia County Junior Fair Breeding Show Judging Times

Vet Checks for ALL Fair Animals will be done as they cross the scales or while in their pens. It is important that the animal assigned to that stall and the stall card is the CORRECT Animal. Please do not move your animals to a different pen without proper permission.

Monday, August 3, 2026 - Check-In Time is ONE Hour Before Show Begins...

  • 9:30 AM - Breeding Swine

  • 11:00 AM - Breeding Goat and Miniature Goat

  • 11:30 AM - Breeding Sheep

  • 5:00 PM - Market Goat

Meet at the Holzer Health System Meeting Rooms BEYOND the Cafeteria on Saturday, July 18, 2026

  • The Crowning will be held during the Breeding Show in the Show Ring at the Gallia County Junior Fairgrounds on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 9:30 AM.

Sunday,August 2, 2026, at the Gallia County Junior Fair

  • Barn Meeting starts at 4:30 PM at the Show Arena

  • The Market Lamb Weigh-In starts after barn meeting.

  • The Market Goat Weigh In starts after barn meeting. 

  • The Steer Weigh In will start after barn meeting. 

  • The Hog Weigh-In will weigh off trailer from 8AM- 4PM. 

  • DUNF forms will need to be filled out electronically on SUNDAY before you go across the scales! 

Small Animal Check In Between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM AT THE DAIRY BARN

  • Market and Breeding Rabbits

  • Pet Rabbits Come and Go on the day of the show, Monday, August 3, 2026, following the Breeding Rabbit Show.

  • Poultry 

Hay, Corn, Grains, and Specialty Crops Check In Between 1:00 pm and 4:00 PM at the Activity Building
