Soil tests are like a “blood test” for soil, offering valuable insights into its health. They are an affordable way to maintain plant health in urban areas and optimize productivity in nurseries, gardens, and fruit crops. Based on test results, recommendations can save time and money while preventing excessive fertilizer use, protecting the environment. Soil tests also aid in plant selection and contribute to diagnostics. Don't Guess Soil Test!

    Everything you need to know to get started in Beekeeping. Chris Blank will be presenting the 101classes at the Gallia County Extension Office.

    The class will cost $20 per person and will include Class Materials in a notebook and refreshments for the night.

    Project Check In- Most projects should be turned into your club advisor for display in your club booth and will not need to be “checked in” on Sunday. Projects that still need to be judged during the fair such as: Hay, Corn, Soy Beans, Specialty Crops and FFA projects will need to be checked in on Sunday at 12:30 in the Activities Building.
