Soil tests are like a “blood test” for soil, offering valuable insights into its health. They are an affordable way to maintain plant health in urban areas and optimize productivity in nurseries, gardens, and fruit crops. Based on test results, recommendations can save time and money while preventing excessive fertilizer use, protecting the environment. Soil tests also aid in plant selection and contribute to diagnostics. Don't Guess Soil Test!

    Vet Checks for ALL Fair Animals will be done as they cross the scales or while in their pens. It is Important that the animal assigned to that stall and the stall card is in fact the CORRECT Animal. Please do not move your animals to a different pen without proper permissions.

    Youth, age 5 and in Kindergarten through age 18 as of January 1st of the current year, may join.  Accommodations can be made for youth with disabilities. For information, contact Tracy Winters, 4-H Professional at the Gallia County Extension Office.

    Where do I sign up?

    Join a club in your county near your home or school. Experience 4-H with a friend, invite them to join with you. Contact Gallia County Extension Office to enroll today.
